This hands-on continuing education course is designed to help massage therapists deliver effective deep tissue massage without sacrificing their own bodies in the process. Through guided practice, participants will learn therapist-friendly methods, efficient body mechanics, and smarter application strategies that reduce strain while enhancing results for clients.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate deep tissue techniques that effectively target muscle tension while minimizing strain on the therapist’s hands and body.
- Apply safe and efficient body mechanics to protect joints, shoulders, and back during prolonged massage sessions.
- Integrate therapist-friendly methods that make deep tissue work easier and support long-term career longevity.
- Assess client muscle tension patterns to adjust pressure and technique appropriately for each individual.
- Plan sessions with strategies that balance effectiveness for clients and sustainability for the therapist.
